RGB Cat Ears

These glowing cat ears are part of a wonderfully weird hacker tradition. What started with a few people in Hamburg 3D-printing and wearing cat ear headbands at Easterhegg 2020 quickly turned into a crowd favorite. People kept asking, “Can I get one too?” and the project grew through Chaos Communication Camp 2023, and the 37th Congress.

So now you have your own. Wear them proudly, light them up, and help disrupt gender stereotypes one glowing ear at a time.

These ears run WLED, an open-source LED controller that lets you choose colors, animations, brightness, and effects from your phone or computer.
